Keep more of every payout. Never get surprised by the IRS.
Prop firms pay you as a contractor and hold back nothing for taxes, so the whole bill lands on you in April. Funded & Filed finds your payouts and fees, works out exactly what you owe, and tells you how much to set aside and when to pay it. One clear number, all year.
How to use it
Set up your account
Add your filing status, state and any job income. Your tax bracket depends on all of it.
Add your prop firm money
Import your bank and card statements, or type in each firm. We find payouts, evals, resets and activation fees.
Add your live account
Trade your own account too? Add futures and stock results. Futures get the lower 60/40 tax rate.
Set aside and pay on time
Your dashboard shows what to save from each payout and how much to pay the IRS each quarter.
Get the most out of it
- Update after every payout. Import your new statement or add the payout, then move the set-aside amount to savings right away.
- Count every fee. Failed evaluations, resets, activation and data fees are all deductible and lower your bill.
- Pay by each due date. Paying late adds IRS penalties even if you pay in full later.
- Keep your statements. Your tax preparer will want them at tax time.

Pay this, and the IRS can't charge you a penalty Example
Trading income swings, so guessing is risky. The IRS waives underpayment penalties if your payments during the year cover either 100% of last year's tax or 90% of this year's. We use whichever is lower, based on the prop firm numbers above.

🔒 Your statements are read right here on your device and never uploaded.
Learn more: how do I download a CSV?
- On a computer, sign in to your bank or card website and open the account's activity or transactions page.
- Look for Download, choose January 1, 2026 to today, and pick CSV. If there's no CSV option, pick the spreadsheet or Excel option.
- Grab every account prop firm money touches: the bank your payouts land in, and each card you pay fees with. Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Discover and Amex files all work.
Here's what we read
Who sent these payouts?
These deposits came through a payout service, so the firm's name isn't on your statement. Tap the firm that paid each one.
Learn more: why are we asking?
Many prop firms pay through services like Rise, Aeropay, WorkMarket, Plane or Deel. Your bank shows the service's name, not the firm's, so we can't tell which firm it was without you.

Your own account. Your 60/40 edge.
Trading your own money is taxed as capital gains, not self-employment income. Futures get the 60/40 rule and stocks don't. Enter the totals from your broker's 1099-B to see what you owe and when to pay it.
